Standardizing complex business processes is hard enough for a single company—now imagine doing it across fifteen dynamic companies trading across multiple verticals worldwide. That was the challenge facing Wünsche Group, a family-owned B2B trading group comprising fifteen trading companies and ten international sourcing offices spread across the globe. 

Each Wünsche company operated with its own process flow, resulting in minimal standardization, limited transparency, and constrained collaboration across the organization. The spreadsheets and local tools the company had relied on could no longer handle the sheer volume of products and orders the business managed, spanning categories from food and non-food items to apparel, textiles, electronics, and consumer goods. 

To keep pace with growing demand, Wünsche needed far greater transparency and collaboration across its organization—but lacked the tools to digitalize an operation of such scale and complexity. 

These challenges were compounded by tightening supply-chain regulations across Germany and Europe. With the German Supply Chain Act set to take effect in 2023, Wünsche needed an end-to-end solution to optimize its critical processes, one that placed corporate responsibility at its core. 

A Platform That Matched Their Operating Model 

TradeBeyond gave Wünsche a true end-to-end platform—a streamlined system for managing the company's many divisions and tracking the more than 1,000 production facilities it uses worldwide. With TradeBeyond's critical path management tools and real-time reporting, the entire Wünsche organization now works from the same up-to-date information, with the software handling Wünsche's complete product lifecycle and supply chain processes: product development, sourcing, quality, vendor management, shipping, and logistics.

The interface syncs all BSCI audit reports and results to Wünsche's TradeBeyond platform in real time, so buyers, merchandisers, and compliance officers stay current on BSCI status updates without ever needing to log into the amfori portal manually. TradeBeyond also automatically cross-checks orders and shipments, flagging key personnel the moment a potential compliance issue arises.
